Designer: โ€œThe design looks clean, right?โ€ ๐ŸŽจ Client: โ€œYes, but can we make the button bigger?โ€ You make it bigger. Client: โ€œNow it looks too big.โ€ ๐Ÿ™‚ You reduce it. Client: โ€œCan we try a different color?โ€ You try 5 colors. ๐ŸŒˆ Client: โ€œLet's go with the first one.โ€ You smile. You don't cry. ๐Ÿ˜ญ Then comes the classicโ€ฆ Client: โ€œCan you make it more user-friendly?โ€ You: โ€œAbsolutely! Butโ€ฆ did we talk to any users?โ€ ๐Ÿ‘€ Silence. Because that's UI/UX design. Everyone has an opinion about how an app should look. But not every opinion is backed by user research, usability testing, or actual user behavior. Good design isn't about making everyone happy. It's about solving the right problem for the right people. ๐Ÿ’ก So, here's a question for all the UI/UX and Product Designers: ๐Ÿค” If a client loves your design, but users struggle to use it, would you defend your design or redesign it? Let's hear your thoughts in the comments. ๐Ÿ‘‡ #UIDesign #UXDesign #ProductDesign #UserExperience #DesignThinking #UXResearch #UsabilityTesting #DesignCommunity #ProductDesigners #UXUI

Poojitha Sushrutha If users struggle, the design has already failed, no matter how much the client loves it. Design decisions should be driven by user behaviour and evidence, not personal preferences. The real skill is knowing when to defend a decision and when to challenge your own assumptions.

Shlok Nikhil Poojitha Sushrutha Here is my take: A client says, โ€œI love this design.โ€ A user says, โ€œI can't figure out how to use it.โ€ Guess whose feedback matters more? The interesting part is that both can be right. The design might look beautiful and still fail at solving the problem. As designers, our job isn't to prove our design is right. It's to find out where it might be wrong. A happy client approves the design. A happy user proves it works.
